Welcome to Cedar Creations

Throughout our Gallery of Cedar Creations you will see many fine-finished Art pieces created by well-known Sunshine Coast Artist, Jack Wilms. His passion is creating timber sculptures of Australian wildlife and native scenes using Australian Red Cedar timber.

Jack chooses to work only with Australian Red Cedar because of its naturally occurring unique grain and the rich red colour of the timber. He prefers to salvage standing dead trees or trees on the ground as opposed to cutting down healthy trees.

This timber Artist also specializes in carved Red Cedar doors and other useful carved furniture pieces. Most of the furniture and carved timber doors are made to order to suit the taste of each client. The beautiful timber sculptures evolve as Jack chooses the perfect piece of timber and starts to create.

We would love to see you at our Gallery, Obi Valley Woodworks. We open to the public on weekends and most public holidays from 10am to 4pm. We look forward to seeing you there or please feel free to browse the website gallery to see Jack's latest items. You can also like our facebook page to receive regular updates on what Jack is working on. Please contact us if you have any questions or would like to place an order, inquiries and commission orders are welcome.

PLEASE NOTE: We have now reopened for business after completing works for The Chapel in Montville. A stunning wedding chapel located in the Main Street of Montville using local artisans and bringing together exceptional stonework, stained glass, wrought iron complimented by the striking Red Cedar entrance doors, 14 individually carved pews, a one of a kind alter plus ceiling embellishment all uniquely carved by Jack Wilms.
